Commemorative Benches & Picnic Tables
San Mateo County Department of Parks is pleased to offer you an opportunity to donate funds for a commemorative bench or picnic table in a County Park, Historic Site or Regional Trail. You are invited to honor, memorialize or thank a friend, family member, or colleague with the dedication of a commemorative facility in one of the County’s beautiful parks.
Every County Park, Historic Site, and Regional Trail has a list of approved sites for benches and picnic tables. We would be glad to share these locations with you.
County Parks will purchase and install a bench or picnic table for you. A minimum donation of $5,000 is needed to dedicate a commemorative bench or table. Your donation is tax-deductible to the extent allowable by law. The bench or table is dedicated for a ten year period but can also be rededicated for an additional fee.
To make a general donation or a commemorative bench or table donation, or for more information about doing so, please contact Cecily Harris, Development Consultant at the Parks Department at (650) 363-4027 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
