Connecting to Weekend Fun in Redwood City
The Park Shuttle is not only ideal for visiting Edgewood and Wunderlich Parks but also for connecting to fun weekend activities in Redwood CityLearn More »
San Mateo County Parks’ new Park Shuttle now links East Palo Alto residents to Edgewood County Park & Natural Preserve in Redwood City and Menlo Park residents to Wunderlich County Park in Woodside every Saturday and Sunday. Intermediate stops for both shuttles include the Fair Oaks Community Center on Middlefield Road and Redwood City Transit Center on Winslow in downtown Redwood City.
The shuttle service begins at 9 a.m. every weekend day at the East Palo Alto and Menlo Park shuttle stops. You can see where the shuttle is along its route by going to SanMateo.thebus.mobi.
People can also walk, bike or drive to a shuttle stop served by both shuttles at the Redwood City Transit Center, which is conveniently served by Caltrain and numerous SamTrans buses and shuttles. See Redwood City parking locations.
It’s convenient – you can leave your car at home, avoid traffic congestion and crowded park parking lots and help reduce fuel emissions at the same time.
Enjoy hiking, picnicking or nature exploration at these parks and attend any scheduled nature walks, history programs or other events led by County Park Rangers or Park Partners.
