San Mateo County Parks has installed machines at three park locations that make it easier for park visitors to pay the $6 entrance fee using cash, debit and credit cards. The three locations are San Bruno Mountain Park, Junipero Serra Park and Coyote Point Recreation Area.

When using the payment machines, visitors will receive a pay stub that must be placed on the driver’s side of the dashboard of the vehicle. A citation will be issued if the stub is not visible. While the machines take cash and most cards, they will not make change. We suggest that if you don’t have $6, you use a credit or debit card instead. 25 cents is charged for using a credit or debt card.

    San Bruno Mountain

Payment machines at San Bruno Mountain Park are located in the main parking lot.

    Junipero Serra Park

Payment machines at Junipero Serra Park are located in the parking area near the Meadow picnic sites, where the Meadow View Playground is also located.

    Coyote Point Recreation Area

Payment machines were introduced at Coyote Point Recreation Area in spring of 2016.

    1. One is located near the park entrance
    2. Another in the parking lot near the Beach Picnic Areas
    3. A third is located in the CuriOdyssey parking area

    See a map.

We recommend that visitors who plan to visit the beach area of the park, including Magic Mountain area, drive through to the fee machine in that location.

    For Seniors & Veterans

Free entrance is granted to seniors (62+) on non-holidays Monday through Friday, and every day to veterans with proof of veteran's status. However, you still need to print out a stub and place it on your dashboard.
