San Mateo County Parks is seeking your input on the San Mateo County Parks Department’s proposal to restore and improve Flood Park. After carefully considering the public input we have received to date, we developed two additional alternatives to the proposed action. These alternatives are aimed at addressing concerns we heard about traffic and noise impacts associated with Flood Park improvements. We have also received public input regarding the pressing need for more playfields and opportunities for baseball, soccer, lacrosse, and other activities to serve the community. Our proposed action and the alternatives described in the Draft Environmental Impact Report (EIR) seek to balance these interests in different ways, and we would appreciate your input on all of them.
