Mission Blue Butterfly at San Bruno Mountain Park

At San Bruno Mountain Park
Saturday, April 28, 2018 - 8:45am-1pm

Join us for our seventh annual San Mateo County Parks BioBlitz! We will spread out at San Bruno Mountain to discover species of birds, plants, mammals, fish, invertebrates, reptiles, and more that the park has to offer!

Please meet on Saturday, April 28th at 8:45am at the Main Parking Lot in the Park. There you will check-in and enjoy some snacks. The "Blitzing" will begin at 9am. From there several teams will split up for about 3 hours to explore entire sections of the park!

We'll finish within the park and meet at 12pm to have our "Wrap-Up" session. At the Wrap-Up you'll have an opportunity to upload your findings to iNaturalist and discuss with experts about the different species you found while learning more about our partnering organizations!

Please sign-up for the event through both Eventbrite and iNaturalist.org.

This event includes snacks for participants!

Partners: Sequoia Audubon Society, California Native Plants Society, Nerds for Nature, Yerba Bioadvocacy, and CAL Academy.

Please Note: Heavy rain will cancel this event.
