This steep road provides an optional route from the Towne Fire Road to the Bear Ridge Trail or the Pomponio Trail. Originally this road was called Pete Towne #2, then renamed Bear Ridge Road and then Fire Road B. The current name was inspired by an ex-Marine who worked for the park during the summer and would fall back into using the military phonetic alphabet. Some old growth redwoods make the steep section more bearable.
