We’re Celebrating Rejuvenated Eastern Promenade May 20 at 3 p.m.
Kick-start your weekend by strolling along Coyote Point Recreation Area's beautiful bayside promenade, hear speakers Supervisor Carole Groom and David Pine, and learn about programs provided by San Mateo County Parks Foundation, San Mateo County Office of Sustainability, CuriOdyssey and San Mateo County Parks.
Devil's Canyon Brewing Company and Little Green Cyclo will be on site to provide food and drinks for purchase.
With the completion of the eastern promenade improvement project, Coyote Point Recreation Area has another major draw for local and out-of-town visitors. Now that the western and eastern sections of the promenade are connected, walkers, runners and cyclists can make a full loop of the park and connect to the Bay Trail. And, with access to a fully restored beach that is also designed to combat sea level rise, water play in the summer is back at Coyote Point.
The eastern promenade includes a new restroom, new and expanded parking areas, accessible beach access points, and an enhanced seat wall with wood features.
