Parks Commissions Welcomes New Commissioner & Reviews Park Concept Plans

At the February 4 San Mateo County Parks Commission meeting, San Mateo County Board Supervisor Dave Pine will swear in Jorge Laguna who will now represent District 1 on the Commission.
At the same meeting the commission will review the concept plan for Tunitas Creek Beach and the preferred concept plan for a new bike pump track at Quarry Park in El Granada. The meeting begins at 4 p.m. and is open to the public via zoom.
Laguna was appointed to the Commission by Supervisor Pine earlier this year. He has been a board member of the San Mateo County Parks Foundation for the past four years. District I cities include Burlingame, Hillsborough, Millbrae, portions of San Bruno and South San Francisco; the unincorporated communities of San Mateo Highlands, Baywood Park and Burlingame Hills; and the San Francisco Airport.
