On weekdays in January, and possibly into February, the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC) is removing a number of large trees above a major drinking water pipeline that runs through Junipero Serra Park.

The park will remain open throughout. In the parking lot some spaces at the end farthest from the driveway will be reserved for work vehicles. The side trail leading from the paved pedestrian trail to the wood stairway above the picnic grounds will be temporarily closed for public safety during removal of nearby trees. For your safety, please remain alert in the presence of woodchippers, trucks and other equipment.
