Work Crews at Coyote Point
Updated Wednesday, December 11, 2019
On Tuesday, October 15 work began on the Coyote Point Eastern Promenade Rejuvenation Project, a project that will address coastal erosion by fortifying 950 feet of coastline along the north shore of Coyote Point Recreation Area.
The project, originally slated to last 3 or 4 weeks, has been prolonged due to days of high wind. Work continues to take place Monday through Friday on the northern bank of the park bluff. No trail closures are in effect, but park patrons are asked to stay away from the work area due to hazardous conditions created by work vehicles, equipment and debris. Some parking in the area may also be reduced. The work should be completed by December 23.
