Reservations are not required to use picnic sites. However, reservations are required for special events or to use a jumper in the park (recreational play structure fees apply). Lean how to obtain a jumper permit or call (650) 363-4020 for more information.

Dogs on leash are permitted on the trails of Quarry Park. However, dogs aren't allowed in the playground area.

Vista Point Trail

The 1-mile Vista Point Trail begins as a service road in the main parking lot. The road enters a dense eucalyptus forest and begins to gain elevation. Enjoy great views through the trees of the Pacific Ocean.

The Wicklow Property

Added to Quarry Park, Summer 2014

The Wicklow Property is a natural addition to Quarry Park in the quaint coastside community of El Granada. It includes 478 acres of grassy hillsides, coastal ridges, a massive eucalyptus forest and pine and cypress groves. There is a system of trails throughout the property that go right up from the playground, restroom and parking lot already present at Quarry Park. Trails meander through meadows, forests and the quarry floor, and lead to destinations like a cool, algae-covered lake and a raised boardwalk at the harbor view vista point. The Wicklow property (as well as the grassy fields adjacent to the playground at Quarry Park) is dog-friendly and even includes a dog station in the parking lot. This is a welcome policy for dog-loving coastside residents. We hope you come out and enjoy one of San Mateo County's newest additions -- there is plenty to explore and discover in this beautiful park!
