Tunitas Creek Beach Project Kickoff Meeting

At Tunitas Creek Beach
Saturday, March 14, 2020 - 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM

San Mateo County Parks invites you to be part of the Tunitas Creek Beach transformation by attending meetings held throughout the County during the next eight months.

Our first community meeting is set for March 14, 10:00 AM at Tunitas Creek Beach. You’ll have the opportunity to get familiar with the beach – the beauty, history and what is special about this location and ask questions of the project committee. Light refreshments will be available.

What to expect: Information stations will positioned throughout the park to help you learn more about Tunitas and the project, including the unique physical and environmental traits that present design challenges as well as opportunities. Our design team will be available to share information, answer questions, and to gather your opinions on preliminary design ideas.

There are two ways to participate:

1) If you would like to help clean-up the beach, arrive between 10:00 and 11:00 AM and then visit the information stations that will be open until 2:00 PM

- OR -

2) If you only plan to visit the information stations, come anytime between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM

Sign-up: To help us be prepared to have adequate supplies of materials, we ask that you register on our Eventbrite event page. If you plan to participate in the beach clean-up please indicate so. When registering on Eventbrite you'll be asked how many people in your party wish to participate in the beach clean-up. Enter a number. If you don't wish to participate, enter zero.

If you're unable to come out and meet us at this or the other upcoming community meetings, information and opportunities to voice your ideas will be available on the Tunitas Creek Beach Improvement Project page »
